We are proud to announce that Scott Whitman has accepted the position of Director of Business Services. Scott will begin with Ashland School District on November 8, 2021.
Scott has served as a business official in the Rogue Valley for more than 20 years, including 15 years in K-12 schools. For the last 11 years, Scott has been the Director of Business Services for Eagle Point School District.
Scott is known regionally and around the state for his careful stewardship of fiscal resources on behalf of K12 students. Scott is well respected by community members, administrators, teachers and classified staff for his clear, transparent communications. Scott brings an ability break down the complexities of Oregon school funding in a manner that is clear and understandable by a broad range of stakeholders. Moreover, Scott has a heart for the work of educating youth and for the Ashland community. Scott is a long-time resident of Ashland and his grown children attended Ashland Schools.
